I've missed the portal, I really have. The last week of wading through all those newly submitted works has sparked memories of me two years ago doing the same thing but writing much nastier reviews and trying to really hurt people. I was such an angry youth. So lost and troubled... then I found Jesus. He was behind the futon making spaghetti. He told me "They will be ready soon" and I realised that being angry wasn't what Jesus wanted from me. All Jesus wants is for me to wait a little while longer, set the table and to enjoy my meal. I now apply this lesson to life and aptly enough the portal. I now wait for that new miraculous flash to appear, setting the table as I go, removing all the garbage that is submitted in the meantime, praying and hoping my hot meal arrives soon, preferably one cooked by David Firth.

I can't quite remember what I wanted to say there... I kind of got lost in some strange tangent. Either way, peace out.
